I was born at an early age.
Then, as a photographer earning a
living in my mid-teens, I found that my early exposure to the
editorial world instilled a lifelong respect not only for the
necessity of efficiency and deadlines, but also for the power
of the image and the story it can tell.
Whatever the media, subject or audience, there is nothing more
satisfying that being able to speak to the viewer through a photograph.
Further adventures in other fields of imagery, still draw on those
same basic principles...
Ok, ok, on a lighter note... life's too short to be anything
less than having fun and enjoying life's adventures. You gotta
admit it, there's no life like it when you get to spend your days
yappin shop with other people, traveling the country, riding in
logging trucks, hanging out with movie, TV and music celebs, drinking
free beer with past and future Prime Ministers, hearing amazing
stories and meeting beautiful people - and getting paid for it.
Just thinking about all that makes me tired...
I think I need a nap... or do I need to wake up..??

Biography
Craig Minielly M. Photog., MPA, SPA, is the owner and operator of AURA Photographics;
a totally digital photography studio servicing the Canadian market
for the last eighteen years.
Recognized as a leader in Commercial, Portrait, Industrial and
Editorial assignments, he is also one of the pioneers of making
successful use of Digital Techniques in a working studio.
Now a transplant to the western way of life, Craig is unleashing
a newfound sense of creativity in his work, his presentations
and way of life!

the Toronto and Hamilton dailies
-Commercially trained at Sheridan College ON
-Established Aura Photographics in 1986, Clientele included smaller
ad agencies, graphic designers, Industrial and Commercial companies,
Editorial publications.

high-end service and guaranteed deadlines
-Joined the Professional Photographers of Ontario (PPO) and the
Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) in 1994
- Recognized within the community, province and country as a specialist
in personal and environmental portraiture.
-Presented across Canada on Basic and Advanced Photographic techniques,
Sales and Marketing Ideas, Digital Studio applications, Digital
Camera techniques and Photoshop for Photographers.
